Most printed designs can be ordered as a single sample card from £3.50, so you can see and feel the paper before ordering for every guest. It’s the easiest first step, whenever your date is. Browse the shop or see the save the dates.
Questions
Good to know.
When should I send save the dates?
Most UK couples send save the dates six to twelve months before the wedding. For a wedding abroad, a bank holiday weekend or a busy summer date, aim for nine to twelve months so guests can book time off and travel.
When should wedding invitations be sent in the UK?
Send wedding invitations around two to three months (eight to twelve weeks) before the day. For a wedding abroad, allow three to four months.
What RSVP date should I put on my invitations?
Ask guests to reply around six weeks before the wedding. That leaves time to chase late replies and give final numbers to your venue and caterer.
When should I order menus and place cards?
Order on-the-day stationery such as menus, place cards and table numbers once your RSVPs are in, around four to six weeks before the wedding, so they arrive with time to spare.
